All Week

Infant & Toddler Activity Sheet
Choose from the many activities on the Activity Sheet.  Put a puzzle together with your child; "adopt" a stuffed animal and talk about how to care for it; sing "Itsy Bitsy Spider" with finger actions. Earn 1 point each.

Kid's Storybook Character Creative Contest
Create a paper bag puppet based on one of your favorite storybook friends.  Entries due Friday July 15th at 6:00PM.  See full directions in the summer reading booklet.

Kid's Weekly Activities
Spin for your Madlib. Roll the Animal Dice. Answer the Sunken Treasure Question. Play the Putting for Points game.

Tween & Teen Board Game Guessing Contest
Figure out the weekly Scavenger Hunt and Puzzle to earn raffle tickets.

Tween & Teen Craft-to-Go
Make a portable tic-tac-toe game in a bag.

Adult's Summer Bingo Card #2
Pick up a card and complete the appropriate activities to get a Bingo.  Earn 2 prize tickets.

Adult's Mini Book Review
Fill-out a mini book review and earn 1 prize ticket.  Forms available at the library.

Tuesday

Family Story Time @ 10:30
For anyone who enjoys picture books and fun. Bring a blanket and join us on the library lawn for stories and songs. Weather permitting.

Middle School Drop-In Role Playing Game Night from 4:00-8:00PM
This drop-in fantasy/sci-fi role-play game group meets this summer on July 12th, Juky 26th, August 9th and August 23rd. New faces are always welcome!

Wizard of Oz Performance @ 6:30PM
Hampstead Stage Company performs an interactive two-person play of The Wizard of Oz.  Will your child become one of the flying monkeys? Rain location: Campbell High School.

Wednesday

Kid's Dance Party Down the Yellow Brick Road @ 10:30PM
Join Miss Catrina as she takes you on a creative adventure through dance movement.  Geared towards kids age 3-8.

Downloadable Books Training @ 2:00-3:30PM
Learn how to use Overdrive's free downloadable book service.  Call to register.

Tween & Teen Dance for Fitness @ 7:00PM
Join dance instructor Catrina Ledoux for fun filled dance fitness.  Learn some new moves to stay healthy and try some cool down yoga.

Thursday

Tween Book Group @ 2:30PM
Page Turners  in grades 6-8 meet to discuss The Only Ones by Aaron Starmer, along with a snack and short activity. 

Kid's Reading Buddies from 3:00-5:00PM
Read for a bit to or with one of our Teen Reading Buddies. Bring your own book or use one of ours!

Kid's Drop-In Tabletop Game Night from 5:00-8:00
You may drop-off** kids age 8-13 or stay and play with them!  Led by Nick Ozmore, the tabletop game group meets the 2nd Thursday of each month and involves a wide selection of games on rotation.  **Note: For children under 10 years of age, a parent or caregiver age 14 or older must remain in the building.

Drop-In Knitting Group from 6:00-8:00PM
If your hobby is knitting crocheting, cross-stitch or any other kind of stitching, bring your project to the library and stitch with our group!  Perfect for all skill levels--even beginners. Unraveled  meets the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month.

Friday

Baby & Toddler Tales @ 10:30AM
For babies & toddlers under 36 months along with their caregivers. Bring a blanket and join us on the library lawn for stories, songs and nursery rhymes. Weather permitting.

Kiddie Crafters @ 1:00PM
REGISTRATION REQUIRED.  Kids age 3-5 paint "Underwater Diver" masterpieces.

Kid's Club @ 2:00PM
REGISTRATION REQUIRED.  Kids age 6-8 create "A Blank Canvas" paintings.

Saturday CLOSED
The library is closed on Saturdays in July and August.
