Dig Into Reading
July 9 - August 9 ages 3 - 5th grade

POINT LOGS DUE BY FRIDAY @ NOON!
To be eligible for the raffle drawings at 2:00, your point logs need to be turned in by noon on Friday.  Points logs may continue to be turned in until the end of August for final prizes.

Stump the Librarian Week
Tell a librarian 3 things about a book you have read.  If the librarian can't guess the name of the book, you win a prize!

Story Time on Tuesday at 10:30
Bring a blanket and join Miss Carrie-Anne on the library lawn for stories, songs and fun. (Weather permitting.)

Rainbow Ants Take 'n Make Craft, Tuesday-Thursday, all day
Pick up a craft kit to take home and make an awesome rainbow ant clip! Earn 4 points.

Discovery Kids on Wednesday at 2:00
Kids ages 9-11 participate in some far out science explorations.  Registration is required.  Call for availability.

Page Turners Book Club on Thursday at 2:30
Tweens and Teens in grades 5-7 meet to discuss The Eleventh Plague by Jeff Hirsch.
 
Dirt Diggin' Ice Cream Party on Friday from 2:00-3:00
This final event of the summer reading club includes ice cream sundaes, raffle prize drawings, and final prize envelopes.  Registration is required by August 7th.  (Rain location: Litchfield Middle School Cafeteria)
 
Weekly Dream Big Activities
Drop in to answer the Question of the Week (2 pts.), play the Snakes in the Grass Game (bonus pts.), name the veggie (2 pts.), and identify the Book Burrower (2 pts.).

Groundbreaking Reads

Train Your Brain!, all week
You've got to keep your brain sharp.  Create at least  5 words from the puzzle and earn 1 raffle ticket.

Final Exam, all week
Should you find yourself faced with the undead, do you know what to do?  Study your weekly information cards, take the test, and find out.  Earn raffle tickets based on your score. 

In Stitches on Tuesday from 11:00-1:00
If your hobby is knitting, crocheting, cross-stitch, or any other kind of stitching, bring your project to the library and stitch with our group! In Stitches meets the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Tuesdays of each month.

Zombie Art Self-Portrait, July 9 - August 9
Roll the die and fill in the features of your zombie.  Add hair and other embellishments to create your likeness.  Earn 1 raffle ticket.

You've been bitten.  Find out how long it will take you to become infected. Earn 1 raffle ticket.   

Zombie Poetry, July 9 - August 9
Use our Zombie Magnetic Poetry to write a haiku for the undead, a couplet about corpses, or a sonnet about survival. Earn 1 raffle ticket.  

Fight or Flight, July 9 - August 9
Collect the weekly zombie information cards to study for your final exam. Final available August 6 - 9, and due at noon on August 9.  Earn raffle tickets based on your score.

Undead Book Reviews, July 9 - August 9
Write a book review and rate the title.  Earn 1 raffle ticket.
