Page Turners Coming in April!

harriet the spy
Page Turners, a new book discussion group for Tweens in grades 5 thru 7, will have its first meeting on Thursday, April 12th at 2:30.  The group will have a snack, discuss Harriet the Spy by Louise Fitzhugh, play a game, and begin the next book selection.  Books are available now and can be picked up in the Young Readers' Room.

Tweens have the option of taking a school bus directly from LMS to the library.  They will meet in the LMS library after school and catch the bus around 2:20.  Parents can then pick them up here at the public library at 3:30-3:45.

About Harriet the Spy
Harriet M. Welsch is a spy. In her notebook, she writes down everything she knows about everyone, even her classmates and her best friends. Then Harriet loses track of her notebook, and it ends up in the wrong hands. Before she can stop them, her friends have read the always truthful, sometimes awful things she’s written about each of them. Will Harriet find a way to put her life and her friendships back together?

Coming up next: The Phantom Tollbooth by Norton Juster.
