The latest SEE Science Center newsletter is out, and they've announced a new Family Workshop featuring Fetch and Ruff Ruffman, complete with 'make and take' activities for families.

"Fetch with Ruff Ruffman is a PBS science and engineering reality TV series for kids hosted by Ruff Ruffman, an animated dog who sends out real kids to pursue interesting challenges. For more about the show visit pbskids.org/fetch.

November's topic is Sound. Drop in and work together as a family on a sound science challenge. The activities are ideal for kids ages 6-10. The activities are offered at no extra charge above admission! Activities take 15-40 minutes.

In November the Workshop will be open Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 1:30pm -3:30pm for the following activities:

Nov. 2nd & 3rd Screaming String Thing

Nov. 9th & 10th Bee Hummer

Nov. 16th & 17th Sound Sandwich

Nov. 23rd & 24th What's the Buzz"
