It's a Stuffed Animal Sleepover!
National Library Week is April 11th through 17th, and this year's theme is "Communities thrive @ your library." To celebrate our sense of community, we're planning a Stuffed Animal Sleepover on Thursday, April 15th!
Kids can drop off one of their favorite stuffed animals (but not the one THEY NEED to sleep with) any time between 5 & 7pm. We'll be reading a few bedtime stories at 6:30pm, and we'll probably want to sing a lullaby or two so all the animals will sleep well. Then after we tuck all of them in, off the children go... Don't worry, your animals will be safe with me (I just hope I'm safe with them)!
When you return the next morning (anytime after 10am) to pick up your stuffed animal, I'll tell you all about our exciting sleepover!
I'm looking forward to making lots of new snuggly friends...
