Mmmm... The Smell of Fresh Gingerbread...
Remember when the Friends of the Library used to hold their Gingerbread House contests?? (It sure does seem like a long time ago!) Well, now that the Young Readers' Room is open again and we have a little more room to spread out, we're doing it again!
So that everyone has a chance to join in on the fun, there are 6 entry categories:
- Family
- Adult
- Teen
- Kids age 9-12
- Kids age 6-8
- Kids age 3-5
Entries are due at the library by Tuesday, December 16th at 8pm. Winners will be selected by December 18th and will be chosen on creativity, originality, and neatness.
Gingerbread houses may go back home with their creators anytime after the 19th, so make sure to stop by the week of the 16th to view them all. I can't wait to see the fabulous masterpieces!
This event is co-sponsored by the Library and the Friends of the Library.
