Adults Master the Art of Reading This Summer
Join the Cutler School of Art, July 1st - August 22nd, as we Master the Art of Reading this summer.
Our curriculum is designed to maximize your summer reading enjoyment. Electives include reading, reviewing, discussion, and entertainment. Choose the areas you enjoy, and leave out the rest.
Attendance is, of course, at your convenience; there are no set times to come to the library. Naturally we’d love to see you every week, but we know that isn’t always possible.
No grades will be given. Instead, you receive raffle tickets for each book, review, discussion, and activity you complete. Book Bucks, Fine Credits and Art Kits (provided by the Friends of the Library) will all be given away in the drawing at the end of each week. Winners will be announced each Tuesday morning for the previous week.
At the conclusion of this course of study, all participants will be entered in the Great Giveaway. All weekly raffle tickets will be combined for the prize drawing on August 26th. Prizes include generous donations from area businesses.
A complete "course" description is available at the library or online. Sign-up at the library now, or when you complete your first book or activity.
