Floats on Parade Contest

shoebox float
Hey kids! Looking for something fun to do? Why not make a float for our holiday parade? All you need is an empty shoe box for the base of your float, a few things from around the house, and your imagination! Your float can show off people, characters, animals, or a cool scene. You can use any materials you like--toys, figurines, beads, sequins, glitter, paper, paint, etc. etc.

Bring your fabulous float to the library as soon as it's ready so we can show it off-- just make sure it's here by 8:00p.m. on Tuesday, November 22nd. Floats will be judged in 3 age categories: 3-5, 6-8, and 9-11. Winners will be announced on Wednesday, November 23rd, and floats can be picked up starting December 6th. (We want to keep them to display for a little while.)
