Wizardly Do-hickey?
Ann is asking our Teens to get creative and enter the Wizardly Do-hickey Contest. Now, you probably know what a wizard is, but a do-hickey? Well, it's kind of like a thingumabob, or a doodad, or even a gizmo. And this particular do-hickey has magical powers. Or at least it will once you've invented it.
Pick up the basic components of your wizardly do-hickey at the library, take them home, ask them to speak to you, or whatever it is you do to get inspiration. Then embellish the components--that's fancy talk for 'decorate'--give it a name, tell us what it does and how it does it! Bring your invention to the library by August 5th where we'll display them, judge them, and award a prize.
