New Hampshire's Grand Resort Hotels—Next Week

New Hampshire's Grand Resort Hotels—November 15, 2017
New Hampshire has a rich history of grand resort hotels.  Architectural historian Bryant Tolles, Jr. shares the history and architecture of the grand resort hotel phenomenon and hospitality tourism in the White Mountains from the pre-Civil War era to the present.

The primary focus is on the surviving grand resort hotels:
- The Mount Washington Resort,
- The Mountain View Grand,
- The Balsams,
- The Eagle Mountain House, and
- Wentworth Hall and Cottages.

Join us on Wednesday, November 15th at 7:00PM for Tolles fascinating program which includes extensive illustrations documenting these buildings and others no longer in existence.

This event is made possible through a grant from NH Humanities and is free and open to the public.
