Rainbow Colored Lobsters and Our Discount Pass to New England Aquarium

Did you know lobsters come in a rainbow of colors?  In today's SeaMail, we discovered a rare yellow lobster was donated to the New England Aquarium by Patriot Seafoods of Salem.  This "American lobster" joins other oddly colored lobster friends in the aquarium's Northern Waters gallery and can also be seen during live animal presentations for younger visitors.

When you visit the New England Aquarium, be sure to take our discount pass along with you. Each daily general admission pass admits up to four people for just $10 each. That's a savings of $8.95-$17.95 per ticket! For more information on this pass and others visit Friends of the Library page.

With the addition of the yellow lobster, the New England Aquarium couldn't resist a photo op and brought out their blue, orange, orange & black, and traditional greenish brown lobsters to join the newcomer.

Of course, once a lobster is cooked, they all become the familiar bright red we're used to seeing on our plates.
