Jane Kelly, a raptor
rehabilitator from Epping, presents a family program featuring three live birds
of prey on Tuesday, June 21st
in the Litchfield Middle School Cafeteria at 7:00PM.
Jane found her calling after finding 10
dead barred owls in a three month period, all hit by cars, on Route 101 between
Auburn and Hampton.
Since that time she became licensed in falconry and established On the Wing, a rehab center where she rehabilitates hawks, owls, vultures, osprey, falcons, kestrels and merlins.
Come hear her story and learn about the need for rehabilitating these majestic creatures following automobile collisions.
This free event is open to the public and appropriate for all age groups.
