Toddler Activity Sheet, all week
Make Superhero masks from paper plates and string, or make animal noises together.  Choose from the many activities on the Toddler sheet, then join us for Family Story Time on Tuesday morning at 10:30.

Tween & Teen "Avenger Bookmarks" Craft-to-Go, all week
Stop by the library and make a set of bookmarks featuring the Avengers. Earn 1 activity raffle ticket.

Tween & Teen Teen Scavenger Hunt, all week
Follow the clues to the prize and earn 1 activity raffle ticket.

Adults: Register Your Superhero Identity, all week
Use our Superhero name generator, discover your superpower and determine your look.  Earn 1 raffle ticket per donation site.

Adults: Be a Community Superhero, all week
Continue to drop of a donation at the library for the Litchfield Food Pantry or the Bedford Animal Rescue League, now through August 21st. Find out what to donate:  Litchfield Food Pantry Wish List Bedford Animal Rescue League Wish List.  You may also drop off school supplies for Litchfield children in need. Earn 1 raffle ticket per donation site.


Adult "Shelfies," all week
Take a photo of yourself in front of your bookshelf at home, or use one of ours, then drop off a copy or email it to us. Earn 1 raffle ticket.

Adult Mini Book Reviews, all week
Fill out the provided mini review, emphasis on "mini," form and drop it off at the Circulation Desk, then check out what others have written.  Earn 1 raffle ticket.

Tuesday

Drop-in Knitting Group from 10:00AM-Noon
If your hobby is knitting, crocheting, cross-stitch, or any other kind of stitching, bring you project to the library and stitch with our group! Perfect for all skill levels. In Stitches meets the 1st, 3rd and 5th Tuesday of each month.

Family Story Time @ 10:30AM
Join Miss Carrie-Anne on the library lawn for stories, songs and fun!  (Weather permitting.)

Kid's Take 'n Make Craft, all day
Stop in and pick up a moveable Captain America craft kit to make at home.

Fantasy/Sci-Fi Role Playing Game Group 2 from 4:00-8:00PM
This multi-age group meets every other week. For more information, call Kerri at 424-4044.

Wednesday

Kid's "Super Perler Bead Heroes" @ 3:00PM
Registration required. For children ages 6-11. Using one of our many patterns, make a creation in honor of your favorite superhero! Call for availability.

Kid's Take 'n Make Craft, all day
Stop in and pick up a moveable Captain America craft kit to make at home.

Adult Book Discussion Group @ 6:30PM
Join All Booked Up as they discuss Orphan Train by Christina Baker Kline.

Kid's Point Logs Due by Noon
To be eligible for the afternoon raffle, point logs should be handed in by noon.  Note: Point Logs may still be returned through the end of August for Final Prizes.

Tween & Teen Raffle Tickets Due by Noon
Complete this week's activities, turn in book reviews and report any books read by noon to get your tickets in the afternoon Grand Prize Raffle!

Kid's Boom-Bash-Yum Ice Cream Finale @ 2:00PM
Celebrate summer reading with an ice cream party on the lawn!  Summer Reading Club raffle prizes will be drawn and final prizes will be available.  Registrater by August 5th.  (Rain location: Campbell High School Cafeteria)

Tween & Teen Ice Cream Party @ 2:00PM
Come in for ice cream and be present for the Grand Prize Raffle drawing for fabulous prizes.

Activity Pass of the Month: SEE Science Center, Manchester
Feel the forces created by a gyroscope. Use mechanical advantage to lift yourself up. Look through a periscope, Send a whisper across the room! Touch and try exhibits on light, electricity, forces, momentum, sound & much more!

This pass admits 2 adults and 2 children free.  Additional tickets may be purchased for $8 per person.  Children under age 3 are always free.  SEE Science Center is open Monday - Friday from 10:00AM - 4:00PM and Saturday - Sunday from 10:00AM - 5:00PM.  This activity pass is provided by the Friends of Aaron Cutler Memorial Library.
