Toddler Activity Sheet, all week
Put a puzzle together with your child, or do a finger play or action rhyme together.  Do these activities at home or come to the library and use one of our puzzles and join us for Baby & Toddler Tales on Friday morning at 10:30.

Kid's "To the Rescue" Creative Contest, all week
Create a diorama of your favorite super hero and earn 4 points.  Complete directions in activity booklet.

Kid's "Be a Hero," all week
Write a letter or draw a picture for a local serviceman or woman who is far from home.  Contact Miss Carrie-Anne for a name, then drop your letter or drawing at the library. Earn 2 points.

Tween & Teen "Web Shooter Masterpiece" Craft-to-Go, all week
Stop by the library and create a work of art using a canvas, spider webs (silly string) and paint. Earn 1 activity raffle ticket.

Tween & Teen Teen Scavenger Hunt, all week
Follow the clues to the prize and earn 1 activity raffle ticket.

Adult Guessing Contest, all week
Test your superpower of estimation in the Friends of Spider Man contest.  Closest without going over wins. Earn 1 raffle ticket.

Adult "Shelfies," all week
Take a photo of yourself in front of your bookshelf at home, or use one of ours, then drop off a copy or email it to us. Earn 1 raffle ticket.

Adult Mini Book Reviews, all week
Fill out the provided review form and drop it off at the Circulation Desk, then check out what others have written.  Earn 1 raffle ticket.

Tuesday

Family Story Time with Moxie the Moose on Tuesday @ 10:30AM
Bring a blanket and join Miss Carrie-Anne on the library lawn for stories, songs and fun!  (Weather permitting.)

Kid's Take 'n Make Craft, Tuesday-Thursday from 10:00AM-8:00PM
Pick up a "Karate Kid" ninja craft kit to make at home.

Adult Makerie: Milk Bottle Vase on Tuesday @ 2:00PM
Registration recommended.  Call for availability.  Earn 1 raffle ticket.

Fantasy/Sci-Fi Role Playing Game Group 1 on Tuesday from 4:00-8:00PM
This multi-age group meets every other week. For more information, call Kerri at 424-4044.

Wednesday

Kid's Ninja Turtle Training on Wednesday @ 10:30AM
Mike from Granite State American Kenpo teaches you how you can be a hero and save the day. 

Kid's Book Discussion Group on Wednesday @ 4:00PM
Book Bunchers in grades 3-5 meet to discuss Absolutely Almost by Lisa Graff and complete a short craft or game.

Adult Makerie: Milk Bottle Vase on Tuesday @ 7:00PM
Registration recommended.  Call for availability. Earn 1 raffle ticket.

Thursday

Kid's Local Heroes: Dogs on Duty on Thursday @ 6:30PM
Meet a State Trooper and his K-9 partner.  Watch them demonstrate how man's best friend aids the police.  Then meet a Litchfield Fire Fighter and hear about arson dogs.  Finally, climb around on the firetruck!  Please note, this event could be overwhelming for some young children.  (Rain location: Campbell High School)

Friday

Baby & Toddler Tales on Friday @ 10:30AM
Babies and toddlers under 36 months, along with their caregivers enjoy stories, songs and nursery rhymes on the lawn.  Be sure to bring a blanket! (Weather permitting)

Kid's "Handprint Heroes" on Friday @ 1:00PM
Registration required for this activity for 9-11 yr olds--call for availability. With the help of Mrs. Miller, turn your handprint into an awesome superhero painting.  Please dress accordingly.

Kid's "To the Rescue" Creativity Contest Entries Due on Friday @ 6:00PM

Tween & Teen Movie Double Feature on Friday Beginning @ 1:00PM
Watch the original Spider Man followed by The Amazing Spider Man.  Come for both, or come for just one.  Earn 1 activity ticket.

Other

Activity Pass of the Month: Squam Lakes Natural Science Center
Located in Holderness, New Hampshire. Purchased up to 2 Trail admission tickets for $3.00 each and up to 4 additional admissions for $10.00 each. (This represents a discount of up to $14 per ticket.) Children 2 years old and under are free. Trail admission covers the live animal trail and all hiking trails.
