Library Closes After Tree Limb Falls During Storm

At around 6:50PM, a large limb fell from the maple tree at the Northwest corner of the property, narrowly missing the fence and bringing down electrical, phone and Internet wires. Patrons were escorted from the building and services were called.

Road Agent Jack Pinciaro removed wires from the roadway and began cutting up the limb, which lays across the exit drive.  Full removal will take place tomorrow

Electricity is expected to be restored by morning. Internet service should be back up by 11:30AM, and phone service by 5:00PM.
