FINAL WEEK!!

Stump the Librarian, all week
Kids are invited to tell a librarian 3 things about a book they have read.  If the librarian can't guess the title, the child wins a prize!

Play the "Magnetic Appeal Game," all week
Come in once a week to play the magnet game for a chance to win bonus points toward additional raffle tickets.
 
Family Story Time on the Lawn on Tuesday @ 10:30AM
All those who enjoy picture books and fun are invited to join Miss Carrie-Anne on the lawn for stories and songs.  (Weather permitting.)

Take 'N Make Craft, all week
Pick up a "To the Moon" craft kit and make a rocket ship at home.

Discovery Kids on Wednesday @ 2:00PM, Library Lawn
For ages 9-11. Participate in some shocking science experiments. Registration REQUIRED.

Point Logs Due @ noon on Friday to be in the Raffle Drawing
You don't have to be present to win, but you do have to have your tickets in the bucket!  Point logs for Final Prizes will be accepted until through the end of August.

FIZZ-BOOM-EAT Ice Cream Party on Friday, August 1st @ 2:00PM
Join us for the final event! Summer Reading Club raffle prizes are drawn and coupons for final prizes are made available. Please RSVP by July 30th. (Rain location: Litchfield Middle School)

Other Fun Stuff, all week
Don't forget to come in and answer the Question of the Week, find the Periodic Table element, and spin for your MadLib.  Complete 4 of 6 six weeks each earn 2 points each.

It's Laser Week and the Final Week:

Laser Scavenger Hunt, all week
Find the described book and correctly answer the question to earn 1 Activity Raffle Ticket.

Laser Maze, all week
Just to make things more interesting this week, you must go through the laser maze to find the answer to the Scavenger Hunt  r to get your books.

LED Throwie Make 'n Take Craft, all week
Make up to 5 LED Throwies using batteries, tape, magnets and LED lights.

Doctor Who Trivia Night on Tuesday from 6:00-8:00PM
Registration REQUIRED. Tweens and teens enjoy food, contests, prizes, games and activities. Don't forget to bring a dark colored T-shirt to make a bleached out Doctor Who shirt!

New High School Book Group on Thursday @ 4:15PM
Bring your friends and join Miss Kerri for a discussion of Legend, the naming of the group and a short activity.

Lasers, Light & Optics Demo on Thursday @ 7:00PM
Join this hands-on demonstration by calling us at 424-4044 to RSVP.

Reading Makes the Difference, all week
All mad scientists read, but not all mad scientists look alike.  Spot at least 5 differences and earn 1 Activity Raffle Ticket.

Roll the Elements, through August 8th
Roll the elemental dice. If things go your way, you take home a "radioactive" prize.  Earn 1 Activity Raffle Ticket per week.

In Stitches on Tuesday from 10:00-Noon
If your hobby is knitting, crocheting, cross-stitch, or any other kind of stitching, bring you project to the library and stitch with our group! In Stitches meets the 1st, 3rd and 5th Tuesdays of each month.

Professor  Bunsen Explores the World, through August 8th
Check-out "Professor Bunsen" at the Circulation Desk, and take him somewhere special like the beach, airport, movies, campground, etc. Photograph him having fun, then email the photo or drop it off at the library. Earn 1 Activity Raffle Ticket when we receive your photo. See where he's been so far.

Turn in Your Lab Reports
Write a 6-word book review on the provided Lab Report sheet and earn 1 Activity Raffle Ticket per review.  You can also browse the clipboard of reviews written by others.
