Join Bob Cottrell on Wednesday, November 13th at 7:00 in the Litchfield Middle School Cafeteria for this look at NH history.

•  Discover how dog sledding developed in New Hampshire and how the Chinook played a major role in this story.  
• Find out how man and his relationship with dogs won out over machines on several famous polar expeditions. 
• Learn the history of Arthur Walden and his Chinooks, the State Dog of NH. 
• Meet Tug, Cottrell's chinook, and see how a sled dog is harnessed.

This program is funded by a grant from the New Hampshire Humanities Council, with local support from the Aaron Cutler Memorial Library.
