Join Miss Carrie-Anne at McQuesten Farm for stories, songs and fun. (Weather permitting.)

Paint-a-Snake Kiddie Crafters on Wednesday at 1:00
Paint-a-Snake Kid's Club on Wednesday at 2:00
Kids will paint their own jointed wiggly snake. Registration is required.  Call for availability.

Family Fun with Reptiles on the Move on Thursday at 6:30 in the Litchfield Middle School Cafeteria
Experience an exciting hands-on "close encounter of the reptile kind!" 

Gnome Poem Writing Contest Entries Due on Friday at 6:00
Using the gnome template available in the Children's Room, kids write a poem and and color their gnome to enter the contest.  Directions can be found in the activity booklet.

Weekly Dream Big Activities
Drop in to answer the Question of the Week (2 pts.), play the Snakes in the Grass Game (bonus pts.), name the veggie (2 pts.), and identify the Book Burrower (2 pts.).

Special guest, stylist Caitlyn Shafer will be on hand to add temporary color streaks to your hair, while Asst. Librarian Kerri introduces you to henna tattoos.  Registration is required. Call for availability. 

Decorate a Flower Pot, all week
Paint a terra cotta flower pot any way you like, while supplies last.

Weekly Dig Into Reading Activities
Correctly answer the Trivia Challenge Question (1 raffle ticket), and fill-out a book review form (1 raffle ticket).

If your hobby is knitting, crocheting, cross-stitch, or any other kind of stitching, bring your project to the library and stitch with our group! In Stitches meets the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Tuesdays of each month.

Collect the weekly zombie information cards to study for your final exam. Final available August 6 - 9, and due at noon on August 9.  Earn raffle tickets based on your score.
