Visit the Young Readers' Room between now and April 23rd and guess how many eggs are in the jar.  Closest without going over wins!

Helpful hint for parents:
Have your child count a small number of eggs in one area of the container, then use that visual representation of the number to help estimate how many are in the jar.

For example, your child counts 10 eggs in one area and now knows how much space a group of 10 eggs takes up.  She then estimates that there are three of these groups in the jar, so that means there are about 30 eggs in all.
