Just a reminder--the Library will close at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 25th and will re-open at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 1st. We wish you a Happy Thanksgiving weekend!

Annual Gingerbread House Contest
The Friends of the Library will be accepting entries in their Annual Gingerbread House Contest from December 8th thru 15th. Enter your unique house or other structure in one of six categories: age 3-5, age 6-8, age 9-12, teens, adults, and family. All original entries, made from edible materials, will be judged on creativity and neatness.
Winners will be announced on December 17th, giving you time to pick them up and enjoy them at home for the holidays!

Turkey Race Make 'n Take Next Week
Imagine that Thanksgiving is over, the table has been cleared, the adults are ready for a nap, and the kids are antsy. What do you do? Why, race turkeys, of course! Stop by the library the week of November 17th and have the kids put their turkey racers together. Be sure to give them a little practice at home before the big event! Craft kits will be available all week beginning Tuesday at noon.

The Second Time Around used book sale is on-going and is located across from the DVD/Videos in the Young Readers' Room. The Friends of the Library recently received a donation of a number of craft books including embroidery, quilting, sewing, teddy bears, ribbon embroidery, etc. Stop in and see what's for sale!
